CCWW Alki Beach Clean up
Volunteer Event
9:30 AM – 12 PM, June 28, 2015

Come on out on a lovely summer's day and pitch in to help the Cornell Club of Western Washington in a community volunteer effort at Alki Beach in West Seattle.

Sunday, June 28, 2015
9:30 (to sign in at the Alki Statue of Liberty)
10:00 AM – 12:00 p.m.
Alki Beach
West Seattle, WA

Alki beach is one of the jewels of the Seattle area, but like many such places, it may be loved a bit too much. The beach where so many people come to relax and play is also home to a wide array of birds and marine animals who don't tolerate the things humans leave behind very well.

Come join with other Cornell alums as we pitch in for a two-hour beach clean-up event in conjunction with Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation. Sign in will begin at 9:30 AM, a half-hour before the clean-up itself begins at 10 AM. All supplies will be provided. And show them your school spirit while you're at it: please wear something red in recognition of CCWW's contribution to the effort.
